Remember, Summer Property Taxes are due September 14, by 5pm. (Postmarks are not accepted as payment date.) The Township office will be open extended hours on Monday, September 14, from 9-5 for tax payments only. Residents may also make payments by mail, the 24 hour Drop Box located by the front doors of the Township Office, online by following the link on the website, (fee added) or at Independent Bank at the corner of Grand River Ave. and Zimmer Rd. (You must have your payment stub). The Township cannot accept post-dated checks. Checks with future dates will be returned to the property owner.
Payments received after 5pm on September 14 will be charged an additional 1% interest on the first day delinquent and on the first day of each month that taxes remain unpaid.
